I thought it was really entertaining and that Natalie Portman's performance was amazing. The one thing that really stood out for me was the white dress she wore to the evening dinner. I've been searching high and low to find a good photo of it and more information, without success I'm afraid. From what I've read it's possibly designed by Rodarte. It's one of the most beautiful dresses I have ever seen. Apologies for the poor images.
The Independent newspaper has compared the film to The Red Shoes made in 1948. I must see this and judge for myself.
