I picked up this beautiful card from Waitrose which I'm giving as an engagement card. On the back of the card is a statement as per below. I love giving presents, I get more enjoyment and satisfaction out of this than actually receiving them so I agree wholly with this statement. It doesn't matter the cost of the present, how big or how small it is. The thought, imagination, presentation and effort are the most important things. I learnt this from my older sister Liz, who, undoubtedly is the most thoughtful person when it comes to presents - I have never seen effort like it. Her attention to detail and touches are very admirable.
